Edgewater Equine Clinic

                                                                                                                                                                                   is now offering portable gastroscopy!!!

h Are you concerned your horse may have ulcers? Do they grind there teeth? Are they stressed? Have a poor hair coat? Show recurrent colic signs? These are all signs of equine gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS).

h Gastroscopy is a procedure where a thin fiber optic scope is passed into your horses stomach to allow the veterinarian to visually assess the inside of the esophagus and stomach. This procedure is the only way EGUS can be definitively diagnosed in the horse.

h Edgewater Equine Clinic is proud to be one of the few clinics to offer mobile gastroscopy in Central Coastal California. Scoping can be done right at your stable or barn. Images are seen immediately and a diagnosis can be made on the spot!!
